Summary of report from Belgrade

Member of the Kosovo-Metohija parliament Presidency Oliver Ivanovic confirmed on Saturday that the talks between representatives of Belgrade and Pristina would open in Vienna on Monday. He pointed out that the two-day talks would focus on "how much and which parts of the Serbian government's plan might be included in the plan of Kosovo-Metohija interim institutions and the United Nations civil mission."

Summary of report from New York

Serbia-Montenegro (SCG) Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic said after his talks with UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan in New York on Friday, that Annan had strongly asserted the UN would do all it could to assure the maximum protection of the rights of Kosovo Serbs. The meeting focused on the Kosovo issue and the situation of Serbs who lived there.
